Not only is this scooter environmentally-friendly, it is also a cheap yet classy product that people of the middle-income bracket can afford. This scooter received all the attention due to its unusual technology and design which are exhibited at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025. Distinctive CNG Technology
TVS Jupiter CNG is first of its kind in the world; it is a scooter that can operate using both CNG and petrol. It is fitted on a 1.4 kg CNG tank under the seat and a 2-litre petrol tank on the floorboard. The dual-fuel system also has an impressive range of 226km. It comes with an alleged range of 84km per kg of CNG meaning it will be affordable on daily commutes.
High Performance And Engine
The single-cylinder engine in this scooter is a 124.8 ccs, developing a power of 7.1 bhp and 9.4 Nm of torque. It has a maximum speed of 80 kmph, and this is able to do in the city and roads within a short distance. It is easy to drive as it comes with CVT automatic transmission. There is also an additional button through which the switch between petrol and CNG can be changed on and off.
Comfort And Convenience
This scooter comes with a bigger seat in the segment and they also offer greater leg room which is comfortable on both the rider and the pillion. It is practical because of features such as all-in-one lock system and the provision of mobile charger at the front. The IntelliGo and ETFI technology are known to increase the fuel efficiency whereas the side stand indicator and engine inhibitor provide high safety.
Details Of Price And Launching
TVS Jupiter CNG is estimated to cost between 90,000 to 1 lakh at ex-showroom price. To get the on-road price, the kit can however have some extra charges of Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,000 that include registration and insurance. The scooter will arrive in October 2025 but at the stage of a concept. It will appear in the market at the end of the year 2025 or the beginning of 2026 with minor modifications.
